PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (Men's and Women's Cross Country) – A trio of Shawnee State cross country runners – Stephanie Cleland (JR/Springfield, Ohio), Will Doering (JR/Grove City, Ohio) and Joe Stewart (SR/Crown City, Ohio) – have been honored as members of the 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Cross Country Scholar-Athletes list, the NAIA announced Monday evening.

The list was composed of more than 500 NAIA runners, each achieving a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, while attaining a junior academic status in order to qualify.
