The Shawnee State University women's cross country team dominated the Mid-South Conference Championship with a team score of 26 points, beating second-place Cumberlands, KY who tallied 51 points.  The Bears finished five runners ahead of Cumberlands second runner enroute to punching their ticket to the NAIA National Championship.

The Individual winner of the race was senior, Danielle Hoop, from Cumberlands who clocked a blazing time of 18:09 to decisively win the race.
