    ATHENS, Ohio - University of Rio Grande freshman Nate Kosnich earned a national championship meet berth, while teammate Kyle Sanborn recorded a first place finish for the RedStorm track & field team at the Ohio Open, hosted last weekend by Ohio University.
    Kosnich, a native of Pickerington, Ohio and the Freshman of the Year in the Mid-South Conference, recorded a third place finish in the men's 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.82, which met the "B" standard of 15.00 for qualifying to participate in the 63rd Annual Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, scheduled for May 22-24, at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Ala.
