The Xavier men's and women's cross country teams have been picked to finish ninth and eighth respectively in the Atlantic 10 for the 2012 season. The women are also ranked 11th in the Great Lakes Region after finishing 16th last season.

Xavier athletics would like to announce the hiring of Ryan Orner as the new XU men's and women's cross country and track & field head coach. Orner starts his tenure with the Musketeers on August 1.
The Atlantic 10 Conference set a record Wednesday, with 1,369 student-athletes earning Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction for the Spring 2012 semester. Xavier was well represented with 83 Musketeers being named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
