Xavier athletics would like to announce the hiring of Ryan Orner as the new XU men's and women's cross country and track & field head coach. Orner starts his tenure with the Musketeers on August 1.
The Atlantic 10 Conference set a record Wednesday, with 1,369 student-athletes earning Commissioner's Honor Roll distinction for the Spring 2012 semester. Xavier was well represented with 83 Musketeers being named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Sophomore Ashley Vincent closed out the Xavier track and field season by running in the 5,000-meter run at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field East Regional on Saturday.
