    RIO GRANDE, Ohio - Sophomore Keri Lawrence captured an individual championship and led the University of Rio Grande women's cross country team to a first-place finish in Friday's RedStorm Classic at the Rio Grande Cross Country course.
    The RedStorm had 15 points as a team in the first annual event, which attracted runners from four other schools, including NCAA Division I Kent State University.
    The University of Pikeville was the only school among the remaining four participants with enough runners to produce a team score, finishing with 47 points.
    Lawrence, a native of Reedsville, Ohio, completed the 5K course in 20:24 for the top finish among the 19 competitors.
