Akron junior pole vaulter Shawn Barber (Kingwood, Texas) added another impressive chapter to his ever-burgeoning resume smashing his own collegiate and national-leading record at the Tyson Invitational last Saturday, Feb. 14, en route to being named the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association as its Division I Male National Athlete of the Week for the second-consecutive week, the organization announced on Monday.
