    FRANKFORT, Ohio - University of Rio Grande track & field head coach Bob Willey has announced the signing of Adena High School's David Bakenhaster for the 2014 season.
    The 6-foot-2, 150-pound Bakenhaster was a middle distance runner and jumper for head coach Jerry Smith's Warriors.
    A three-time All-Scioto Valley Conference and three-time All-Southeast District selection, Bankenhaster competed primarily in the 400-meter dash and the long jump this spring, setting a new personal record in the 400 with a time of 53.22 at the SVC championship meet in May.
