Johnson, a 5-foot-6 sprinter/hurdler, competed in the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, the 300-meter hurdles and the long jump this spring for head coach Jordan Michael's Wildcats.
Johnson qualified for the regional championship meet in the 100, 200 and 300 hurdles, but did not advance to the state championship in any of the three events. She did, however, set a new personal record in the 300 hurdles at the regional with a finish time of 49.50.
