UC's women's team has announced the signing of two student-athletes to an already strong class of seven, which was announced in February.

UC thrower Frida Akerstrom record a new personal-best mark of 54' 10.25" this past weekend to win the Ashland Summer Series #3.She currently ranks first on the Swedish performance list and 31st in all of Europe.

The Bearcats made great strides during the 2013-14 indoor and outdoor seasons. The season included numerous career-best times and marks along with a handful of league honors, conference champions and school records.

Former UC track & field standout Eric Finan completed a lifelong dream Thursday night as he ran his first ever sub-four minute mile to win the 2014 Adrian Martinez Classic in Concord, Massachusetts and defeat 2012 Olympic silver medalist Leo Manzano.
