The Bearcats bump up in level of competition this weekend as they race at the Bluegrass Cross Country Invitational in Lexington, Ky. on Saturday morning.
The Bearcats opened up the 2013 season Friday afternoon as they competed at the Queen City Invitational The men's team took fourth in the meet, while the women claimed fifth.
The Bearcats open the 2013 cross country season at the 32nd Annual Queen City Invitational, which is being hosted by Xavier this year. Both men and women will run a 5K with the men competing first at 5 p.m.
The University of Cincinnati women's cross country team received the NCAA Public Recognition Award after recording a perfect multiyear score of 1000 on the 2011-12 Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) Institutional Report.
