The Denison women s cross country team opened the 2013 season with a victory at the Dayton Flyer 5K.

Katie Navarre placed 12th and Ashley Putnam finished 20th out of 132 runners helping the Denison Big Red to a fifth place finish at the 2010 Great Lakes College Association Championship from Liberty Park in Delaware, Ohio.

Denison senior Katie Navarre placed fifth out of 161 runners to lead Denison to a third place finish at the 20th annual Friendship Invitational from Cedarville University. The 12-time Invitational featured teams from NCAA Division I, II, II and the NAIA.

Senior Katie Navarre's 14th-place finish helped the Denison University women's cross country team take fourth at the 30th Annual All-Ohio Championships hosted by Cedarville University on Friday afternoon.

Navarre was recently inamed one of 13 recipients of the NCAA's Women's Enhancement Postgraduate Scholarship for Careers in Athletics.

Katie Navarre '11 has been named a top-30 finalist for the 2011 NCAA Woman of the Year award.

The Denison women’s cross country team placed 12th out of 33 teams and senior Michelle Clark qualified for nationals.

The 2011 cross country season is just hours from officially opening.The two squads have shown plenty of promise throughout the preseason.

On Saturday morning in Terre Haute, Ind., Michelle Clark will compete in the 2012 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship.
